Occupying a central location within the boathouses along the embankment of the River Thames at Putney, Crabtree Boathouse is need of comprehensive renovation. Our proposals include the creation of accommodation for crews and space for land-training, new changing rooms, and an improved function room and balcony for watching events on the river including as The Boat Race. The riverfront elevation is restored with exposed brickwork and inset oak windows, which slide away completely to provide an uninterrupted view over the tideway.
